Foulquier: "The team's attitude was very good"

Dimitri Foulquier celebrated Valencia CF's victory against Elche CF, but he is already thinking about the immediate future. The fullback is aware that the team have to continue working and prepare for Thursday's game in the Copa del Rey, as he stated to VCF Media.

It was a win with a goal in the final minutes. You saw that the team were very happy, but I think that it was a very well deserved win. We generated more chances and we deserved these three points.

Winning through attitude

We say every week that it's very difficult to win -including when you're the better side, like today. It isn't easy, because we conceded a goal from a set piece and it nearly ended in a draw. The team's attitude was very good, and that's how you get points.

Team spirit

The coach and Alderete weren't able to be here, but I'm sure that they were getting behind the team. We're a squad, with players who want to play, and we all support each other. You saw that today.
